Getting started with your RunSignl workspace
What happens between your invite and your first working workspace — setup, the first read of your account, the tour, and where each area of the product lives.
RunSignl is invite-only during the private beta. This is the whole path from an invitation to a workspace with real data in it.
Getting in
- Request access at runsignl.com if you do not have an invitation. It is three short screens; only your name and email are required.
- Redeem your invitation. Enter your invite code, the email it was issued to, and your workspace name.
- Sign in from your email. RunSignl uses passwordless sign-in — you get a secure link and an 8-digit code by email. There is no password to create or remember.
If the workspace does not appear after you sign in, check that you used the same email address the invitation was issued to.
Setting up your workspace
Setup is six short steps, and it is the only place some of these answers are asked for:
- Your workspace name and Instagram handle — the account RunSignl will read.
- Where you are starting from, and what the account is for — your own description, not a score RunSignl assigns you.
- Your goal, your niche, what you make things about, and an optional target and deadline.
- Your platform, formats and posting cadence — Instagram is the only platform RunSignl analyses today. The cadence you pick is what your plan is later built at.
- Your bio line and how your voice sounds.
- Your accent colour, light or dark theme, and benchmark accounts — creators you want to learn from. You can leave this empty and find them later.
Your monitored Instagram handle is locked once setup completes. Everything else — name, bio, voice, benchmarks, goal, colour, theme — stays editable in Settings.
The first read of your account
When setup finishes, RunSignl reads your account in the background: your posts, your profile, the benchmark accounts you named, and real comments. It also fills in any blank profile fields from what it read, so your workspace starts with your own material rather than a template.
You get an email when the workspace is ready. This first read is the only thing that runs on its own — after that, nothing refreshes automatically. Your numbers stay exactly as they are until you press Refresh my numbers on Intelligence, or Refresh now in Settings.
The tour
The first time you open your workspace you get a short walkthrough over your real dashboard — not a slideshow. It points at the actual controls you will use.
You can replay it any time: open your profile menu (bottom-left in the sidebar) and choose Replay the tour, or open Beta → Dashboard tour. Replaying changes nothing and costs nothing.
Where everything lives
- Overview — your home. What is working, what needs you, and what to do next.
- Approvals — everything waiting on a human decision.
- Inspiration — reels worth recreating, sorted into lanes.
- Content — every draft you have, with the status it is really in.
- Plan — your next 30 days and how to make each piece.
- Intelligence — the real numbers behind your account and your benchmarks.
- Engage — Instagram connection, replies, and keyword automations.
- Collaborations — import a plan or brief from a manager or collaborator and work through it. Your main workflow is untouched until you promote something.
- Notes — a private scratchpad, kept in the browser you are using.
- Settings — brand, creator profile, content direction, benchmarks, goal, safety, people and connections.
- Beta — what we are testing, known issues, release notes and everything you have reported.
Strategy & Setup is reached from Settings. It holds your creator profile, stage, benchmark creators and the direction RunSignl derived from them — revisit it when your direction changes.
What to do first
Open Overview and study one piece of evidence — a post that beat its own creator's normal results — then decide whether the pattern fits you. That is the shortest path from a new workspace to something worth making.
