How do I send feedback or report a bug?

The Send feedback button is the support path during the beta. This is how to use it well, plus straight answers to the questions that come up most.

Sending feedback

Every screen in RunSignl has a Send feedback button. It is the support channel during the private beta, and it goes to the people building the product.

  1. Press Send feedback on any screen.
  2. Pick a category: Bug, Confusing, Feature idea, AI output, Win or General.
  3. Give it a one-line title and a little detail.
  4. For a bug, fill in Expected and Actual — what you thought would happen, and what did.
  5. Set a severity, and tick This is blocking me if you cannot carry on.
  6. Attach a screenshot if it helps.
  7. Leave OK to follow up with me ticked if you are happy to be asked questions.
Worth knowing

RunSignl has no support inbox, no live chat and no ticket portal. Do not wait for a reply to an email address — there is not one. Send feedback is the path, and it is deliberately one press away from wherever the problem happened.

What gets attached automatically

The report captures safe context: which screen you were on, which build you are running, which browser and device you are on, and which workspace. It never captures your content — your drafts, your comments, your DMs and your messages are not included.

Reporting a bug well

The reports that get fixed fastest tend to have all three of these:

  • What you did, in the order you did it.
  • What you expected, and what actually happened.
  • A screenshot of the state you ended up in.

If something looks wrong but nothing is broken — a screen you had to read twice, a word that means something different to you — that is Confusing, and it is just as useful.

Tracking what you reported

The Beta page is your record. It holds:

  • What we're testing now — where feedback is most valuable this week.
  • Known issues — check here before reporting, in case it is already logged.
  • Release notes — what changed.
  • Your reports — everything you have sent, and where each one stands: New, Under review, Reproduced, Planned, In progress, Fixed, Please confirm, Declined or Duplicate.

Please confirm means we think it is fixed and would like you to check.

The Beta page also has Beta welcome and Dashboard tour buttons. Both simply replay something you have already seen — neither creates, changes or spends anything.

Common questions

Why have my numbers not changed?

Because nothing refreshes on its own. RunSignl has no schedule and no background sync: your numbers stay exactly as they were until you press Refresh my numbers on Intelligence, or Refresh now in Settings. Both pages show when the last successful read happened.

I was added to a workspace but I cannot see it. What now?

Sign out and sign in again. Being added does not change a session that is already open — the workspace appears the next time you sign in. If it still is not there, check with the owner that they used the exact email address you sign in with.

I set my Instagram handle during setup, so why does Engage say I need to connect an account?

Those are two different things. The handle you set during setup is the account RunSignl reads for numbers and evidence, using public data. The Engage connection is what lets RunSignl act — reply to a comment or run an automation — and that requires you to authorise the account. See How do I connect Instagram to RunSignl?

Why did RunSignl not reply to a comment automatically?

There are several honest reasons, and Engage always names the one that applied. The most common: that surface is set to Off or Suggest replies; Reply Assistant is paused; the comment asked something your workspace has not confirmed; the comment was sensitive, hostile or uncertain; it touched a topic you excluded; your hourly or daily cap was reached; or an automation already handled it. You will find every one of these in Activity and in Needs review.

Someone commented my keyword and got a DM, but RunSignl did not also reply. Is that a bug?

No, that is the design. An active keyword automation owns the comment it matches, and Reply Assistant deliberately stands down so nobody receives two responses to the same comment.

Can RunSignl post to Instagram for me?

No. RunSignl never publishes or schedules a post. It plans, writes and packages content; posting is always something you do yourself from Instagram. A piece marked Ready to post is waiting on you, not on a queue.

My workspace says it is still getting ready. How long does that take?

The first read of your account runs in the background after setup, and you get an email when it is ready. The screen polls until your data lands. If something goes wrong it shows you the reason and a Try again button rather than spinning forever.

Can I change the Instagram handle my workspace monitors?

Not from Settings — the monitored handle is locked once setup completes, so a workspace's history always belongs to one account. Everything else stays editable. If you genuinely need it changed, send feedback and say so.

Does browsing this Help Center need me to be signed in?

No. Every page here is public, static and readable without an account.
